Pim Smit: Renowned Artist with World-Class Art at Home
The versatile Pim Smit stands out in the art world. The Dutch painter, composer, singer, and poet, who traded Amsterdam for Wommersom (Linter) years ago, continues to amaze art lovers with each new creation. The service Pim offers his clients is equally unique.
Usually, fans of Pim's style visit his studio, after which he and the client move about ten pieces to the potential buyer’s home. “There, a final choice is made, and the artwork is placed in the perfect spot through mutual consultation,” says Pim Smit.
The Acclaimed Painter
Pim Smit, who has a vast body of work, meets art lovers only by appointment. He enjoys personally connecting with them in his own artistic world. Pim's style is abstract and more figurative compared to his discoverer Herman Brood. A "Smit" painting features a layered play of colors.

Art That Doesn't Need a Story and Elevates Details
Pim Smit’s art doesn't need a narrative or words. It offers no information to expand the viewer’s artistic knowledge. Instead, it opens up to those who look attentively and contemplatively, revealing the internal relationships within the painting. It radiates a specific quality that, beyond its formal and technical excellence, is nothing but its irreducible, genuine meaning.
